Astra is a members' community centred primarily around gay, bisexual and other same-sex attracted men.
The club is intended to provide opportunities for members to meet and get to know one another. While members may have very different backgrounds, professions and interests, the application process helps us better understand our community and create opportunities for people to connect with others they may relate to. The aim is to help members build a community of people whose company they enjoy, ultimately enabling them to derive greater enjoyment from life and the experiences they choose to pursue.
There are no right or wrong answers throughout the application process, and members are not selected based on particular interests. We encourage applicants to answer authentically. Whether your interests include nightlife, travel, fitness, culture, business or something entirely different, the purpose is simply to help foster relevant introductions and connections within the community.
While Astra is centred primarily around its members, not all events and experiences are intended to be exclusively male. Some events may include guests or be designed to encourage broader social interaction where appropriate.
Membership is subject to an application process, and all applications are reviewed before admission. This helps maintain a respectful, engaged and high-quality community.
